Real Thread
Real Thread is a custom apparel company focused on high-quality screen printing and embroidery for businesses and clothing brands. During my time overseeing marketing for the company, we went through an entire rebrand and transition to a new CMS. One of my crowning achievements during my tenure was instituting an extremely successful content strategy that centered around a team of highly-skilled freelance writers who were educated on our product, our audience, and the technicalities of the industry before they were set loose. We were able to 4x the amount of content published (which had a major impact on SEO), which also freed me up to think more strategically and oversee more critical brand/marketing activities—like partnerships, copywriting, art direction, etc.

"World's Softest Billboard" sample packs — this is an opportunity to intro the brand to prospects and sell them on what makes Real Thread different.

First-time order cards — these printouts were included in the boxes for any new customer order.

Customer appreciation sticker sheet

Rebrand photoshoot

Screen printing is an extremely technical artform, and even the best printers make mistakes. This apology card goes out to customers who aren't over-the-moon about their order.

Web copy with new rebrand elements

Some fun tea/tee wordplay became a full-fledged customer appreciation campaign!

Trend prediction: dyeing your hair "Real Thread yellow" will be all the rage in years to come.

Corporate emails are notoriously bad. But…do they have to be? I’m on a mission to make emails fun again—from the subject line right down to the unsubscribe button (which I hope will never be clicked again).

First-time customer messaging — this insert would be included in first-time orders.

As a fun staff gift + customer appreciation campaign, I had these "Better Ingredients, Better T-Shirts" shirts designed—inspired by the one & only Papa Johns.

Signage mockup — this tagline conveys Real Thread's local/handmade approach while also touching on how much of a brand impact t-shirts can make.

This marshmallow shirt was used as a weird and fun customer gift inspired by the concept of "super soft t-shirts." It was made possible through a brand partnership with another Orlando business, Wondermade!

Textural photography + warm-fuzzy language = a match made in heaven.

As a play on water-based inks, this Water Based Summer campaign centered around water, bright colors, and summer apparel.
